Statistics in urology

The Urology Research Office provides statistical help and guidance for many projects within the department of Urology, Erasmus MC, as well as for other projects. Internally, for instance, we provide assistance to the functional urology group with the statistical aspects and development of their clinical prediction model for urinary incontinence,
we were involved in the development of a prediction model for Prostate Cancer UK which includes life expectancy, the external validation of the Prostate Cancer Risk Calculator, updating other Risk Calculators (the IMMPROVE study), long term modelling, adherence to guidelines in the IMAGINE project, and are workpackage co-lead of the statistical workpackage in PIONEER.
